Summary: Almost a decade ago, a mummy bent on love and vengeance menaced Egypt like no mummy had before. Twice. Now, a different mummy comes into the spotlight. But this time, there's nothing redeemable about this guy.
History: The first true emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang earned the title of Dragon Emperor with his horrific cruelty and boundless ambition. To give you an idea, he built the Great Wall over the corpses of dead slaves and enemies. But when everything, even the mighty Wu Xing elements, were conquered, he turned to gaining immortality. He found a witch to do it, but then his prized general fell in love with her. After the evil emperor had his general executed for this, the witch angrily cursed him and his entire army to be encased in clay for all eternity. Flash forward to centuries later, and he's uncovered by the family of Rick O'Connell, who had defeated Imhotep not long ago. However, the fanatical General Yang believes that the emperor can bring China back from the sorry state it's in after WWII, and resurrects him with the Eye of Shangri-La. Soon enough, Huang is back to try and bring back his army to take over the world.
Notable Kills: The very first thing he does after being brought back is decapitate a man with his bare flaming hands.
Final Fate: After all of his enemies are resurrected to fight his soldiers, the emperor finds himself stabbed in the heart by both parts of a broken sacred dagger, causing him to explode in magma, as well as his army fall to ashes.
Powers/Abilities: Immortality, mastery of all five elements, and, after bathing in the waters of Shangri-La, the ability to shapeshift into monsters such as a three-headed dragon and an Oni.
Weakness: The same dagger he used to kill the witch with the first time will kill him if he's stabbed in the heart with it.
Scariness Factor: 4-Sure, the CGI can be a bit hokey in some parts, but even before he became a mummy, this monster of a man had every reason to be feared. His usually calm and stoic exterior hides a very sadistic mind, and it only gets worse when he has all kinds of powers up his sleeves.
Trivia: -Originally, a sequel known as "The Mummy: Rise of the Aztec" was going to be made, but after this film's awful performance, it was canned.
-Qui Shi Huang was indeed the first emperor of China, and towards the end of his spectacular reign, he did seek immortality, or as he called it, the Elixir of Life. The reasons for his demise, prophesized by what someone inscribed on a meteor no less, are unknown, but many believe that in his madness, he ingested mercury thinking it would make him immortal.
